This project will provide my students the basic supplies necessary for academic success. My school services academically gifted students that may come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Some may struggle with food insecurity, different learning styles, and language barriers- just to name a few. In spite of all these obstacles they show up everyday, eager to earn and are driven to succeed. Teaching in the age of COVID pandemic has forced teachers to find a new way to get students the supplies they need to succeed. We are no longer allowed to have a central supply of materials that students can borrow and return. This project will ensure that each student has the necessary supplies no matter their economic status. In my classroom we have an interactive notebook that contains all of the content the students need to master. It includes notes, checks for understanding, foldables, and other activities. These supplies will perfectly pair up with the interactive notebook, and allow the students to complete these activities to reach mastery of the content.
