The materials will add to the classroom tremendously. I will be using the books to help the children understand how their words and actions affect others, how perseverance is important and that diversity is an asset. I will foster a sense of community in our classroom through literature. After the last school year it is essential the students get additional resources and support in order to reach their potential. Students will be able to use the dry erase boards in small group instruction during Phonics/Reading lessons. I will also use them during math instruction. Having their own supplies will help, given the restrictions of Covid-19.
