These journals will help my students become better writers and will also keep them organize and on track. These journals will cover all of the type of writings that we will focus on in 5th grade this year. My students would be able to organize their thoughts and then write with the help of these journal. These journals will also help with polishing their writing skills. We wouldn't have to waste class time with copying from the board and/or looking for writing journal entries. Some of my students aren't able to get all of the supplies on the supply list and this would help them tremendously with easing that burden.
