I’m a second year teacher who has the unique opportunity to work with and support students from two different schools. I am tasked with furnishing, not one, but two classrooms, which means that I will need double the supplies! I am beyond excited by this task and hopeful that I can turn both of my spaces into safe, comforting learning environment for my students. Being that my classroom is a Resource Room, it is imperative that it contains materials like fidget toys, manipulatives, and flexible seating. I also hope to create a classroom that is warm and inviting through the use of some much-needed furniture and decor. My students will be welcomed into my classroom when they see consistency with the decor on the tables and walls, helping to calm their minds.
