The calming room will provide a place where we can do yoga with our students. We will also have mindfulness activities to help students manage their behavior and decompress from all the worries that they may be faced with daily. The bean bags will provide a comfortable sitting area in the room where they can listen to soft music, smell the aromatherapy oils and calm their bodies. Our students deserve a place where they can feel safe, nurtured and loved. The calming room with all of the items requested will provide the needed ambience to help change the climate of our school.
