It is my hope that these first grade students will learn to express themselves through music, which is an avenue that many of them to do not currently have the opportunity to experience. Through your generous donation to this project, I will be able to incorporate music into my curriculum on a regular basis. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I have chosen percussion instruments which can be easily played while sitting at, or standing behind a desk. The Bluetooth CD player will allow students to hear music and play along with their instruments. The outcome of these young minds being exposed to and learning to make music will not only build self esteem, but also empower our next generation
