These resources will help nurture a safe and learning-conducive environment while the students embark on their first year of elementary school and journey back into the classroom. Many of our students do not always get a healthy and nutritious breakfast and/or snack before and during school, so the food will help with making sure each student will have fuel throughout the day. The puzzles, cubes and game will give fun and interactive learning opportunities in the much needed areas of language arts and math. The rug will provide an easier to clean and easier to socially-distance opportunity for students, as we work to make school as "back-to-normal" as possible! We will use this rug to set boundaries between the students so that we can provide distraction-free lessons on the carpet as well as fun and engaging read aloud and daily business.
