Technology changes and our current 3 cameras are from 2012. We are still using SD cards for photography. Our current cameras have 10 megapixels. The new iPhones have 12 megapixels. The annual budget given to us by the school for classroom supplies is approximately $120. That has to cover paper, expo pens, paperclips and all the supplies for the year. Though we have asked, we do not receive a technology budget. I have tried to tap other sources and told no because Yearbook is not considered a CTE course. Students would be able to upgrade their photography skills with new technology. New cameras use BlueTooth and Wi-Fi to submit photos to programs. New cameras have 24 megapixels. At some point, electronics no longer work. It is only a matter of time until the 3 cameras break down. We would like to replace the cameras before they break.
