My students are a very active and unique set of learners. They have lived all over the world and the mainland United States due to their family's military backgrounds. This requires a lot of social and emotional learning, as well as variety in instruction regarding any concept. They are very competitive in the classroom and enjoy being pushed to the limits of their understanding. The entire class, myself included, now lives in Hawaii, a place many of them have never been. While some will only be here a few months, and others may graduate from a high school on the island, the vast majority will only call this place home a couple of years. So please, help us make this learning experience exciting and fun with the little time we all have together!
