When I arrived at this school, the band had no method book to work out of. People often think that "the arts don't use textbooks." While it is true that a lot of what we do is perform music, in order to get to the performance, we must have a solid foundation of basic skills on our instrument. This is necessary to perform at a high level, and having a standard method book will help us achieve this! Having a class set of the "Foundations for Superior Performance in Band" method book will help our students hone their skills on their instrument and help equip them with the skills needed to perform at their best.

About my class
