Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Having options is empowering and motivating for students. Currently, my students have access to wobble chairs, floor seating, as well as the traditional tables and chairs to work from. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options for them to be comfortable while actively participating in their learning. All products are lightweight and can easily be moved around the classroom as needed. Additionally, everything selected can be easily cleaned and sanitized so that we continue to stay mindful of proper hygiene in the classroom. These young students are entering school for the first time since COVID-19. My goal is to provide a safe space for them where they can make individual choices to support their mental health and wellness while still engaging in learning.
