My students often cannot afford many school materials, so providing graphic notebooks to them allows each of them to be able to take notes and draw pictures to learn and study more effectively. I am requesting graphing notebooks and classroom posters to encourage my students. The inspirational posters are the most important part of this classroom renovation project as they are affirmations of their abilities that they will look at every single day. I want my students to be surrounded with confidence and support. I have already hung a grad robe in my room with a mirror in the neckline so that they can look at themselves in the mirror and see their future. We will also be making a "Multiple Abili-tree" on the wall together so that we can start to visualize all the ways that we are smart.
