In this school year, all of my EL students will create a multilingual story book that will benefit future EL students and bring multilingualism to our school community. To do so, students will need to write their stories in Google Doc and create graphics on their Chromebook. However, many of the ELL students' technology skills are still low and have a hard time to use the tracing pads on their Chromebooks. Many times, because of misuse of the tracing pads, students accidentally delete their work and get frustrated. These wireless mouses will help them to work on their projects easily and less frustrated. Moreover, it can also help to draw their photographs easier and able to express their ideas more through digital graphic design.
The gift cards from TpT will give a huge support on students' academic learning. In order for students to learn how to write a story, there is a need to provide scaffold materials to help all EL students understand the structure of narrative writing. The gift cards will allow me to look for different academic materials and use them for my students. This will enhance my students' learning on narrative writing.
