Third graders returning to learn will use materials to rebuild relationships and reconnect with one another after a year of virtual and blended learning. Students will be able to share their emotions and communicate feelings using art supplies. Individual canvas boards will allow students the chance to show their creativity with acrylic paints. Having their own palettes and paint brushes will allow third graders the chance to take their time knowing that they do not have to share supplies. In addition to exploring their artistic side, students will bond over outdoor activities. Having a complete set of various playground balls gives my students the chance to vary their activities. The Lakeshore Indoor/Outdoor equipment cart is a perfect resource for transporting athletic balls and jump ropes to and from recess areas. By donating to my project, third graders will have the chance to reconnect with each other in fun and engaging ways.
