Our Title 1 urban high school has about 2000 awesome students. We are a highly diverse campus - students speak over 40 languages and come to us from all over the world. My physics classroom is a project-based and hands-on environment where students design and build a series of physics/engineering projects that help them understand both the physics we are learning and the engineering design process. I love the kids I teach. They are brave, hard-working, intelligent, and creative. They are also underestimated and their education is underfunded. I want each of them to consider a STEM career and have every opportunity to build a successful life and be happy. Thank you for considering helping me and them! :)
