These items will become part of my NEW reading nook for my 1st grade students. I want to give them a safe, comfortable area within the classroom to relax and pick a book to read for pleasure. Many of the students do not have access to a large variety of books to read at home. I want to give my students the gift of reading! If the students feel comfortable within the area they will develop a love for books and reading. This will help them throughout their school career and specifically in 1st grade with the AR program.
