Kindergarten is a time of learning and growing! Research shows that for our earliest learners, the best way for this is through play. A kitchen set will allow these little learners the opportunity to learn valuable math skills, language/speech skills, and certainly valuable social /emotional skills. It would be such a pleasure to have a happy and inviting place in my classroom for children to play and learn and grow! As Mr. Rogers once said, "Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. BUT for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." I am hoping to bring the joy of play back to my Kindergarten classroom!
