When students come to see the school counselor, they are often stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed. I want my office to serve as a calming space for them. With the use of these materials, my office will be an inviting, comforting space that has plenty of greenery (from plants purchased myself), hot chocolate and tea available from my Keurig, and a comforting white center rug. The rug will outbalance the dark colors in my office, and the plant pots will go on the window seal that is currently just open and empty.

About my class
