The sensory items will be used by my students each day in the classroom. They require break times in the day where they can rest their minds and focus their attention on play and growing through movement. The movement items and adaptive seating items give the students an alternative place to learn. Typical desk and chairs are not always the most effective seating options for young students with disabilities. Bean bags, bubble seats, and trampoline seating allows the students to move freely while learning. All of the items will aid my students in their adapted learning. Workbooks and handouts are not effective for my students. Each of these classroom materials will allow the teachers and students to work hands-on in a method that works best for students with disabilities.
