These materials will make a difference in the learning of my students by providing something that could satisfy basic needs such as the snacks that they can munch on while we wait for our lunch time. The academic items, such as the organizers and punch cards, will help with organization and working towards an end goal. The pillows and lights are more for that home feeling which adds to the atmosphere of the classroom. Students will be able to come to my classroom, complete their work and at the same time focus a bit on their self care by satisfying any need they may have in that moment.
