This year, I am hoping to add a new rug to my classroom to use during class meetings, literacy, and math time. I love to have my students close to each other and to me as we learn and collaborate together! I have found that through thoughtful discourse, students are able to make connections and learn from each other, and having a rug with sit spots is a great way to facilitate this type of discussion! Please consider donating to my project to help me create a fun, safe, and collaborative environment for my second graders to learn! All donations are greatly appreciated, no matter the size!
