I want to create a calm, welcoming and nurturing space for my students with a cactus/succulent theme and provide them with opportunities to nurture plants and learn about the life cycle and teach them responsibility while providing them with hands on manipulative to develop their higher level thinking skills while keeping them engaged in learning. I chose items that will provide them with rich experiences and that will also provide a calm learning environment for them to learn and grow both emotionally, cognitively and socially. I am excited to combine my own love of plants with my love for my students!
