As a kid, I often found an escape from the world around me through reading - and I know many of my students do the same. My girls often have large families that require them to step up in their homes. In doing this, they don't always have the chance to be a 'kid' or take time for themselves. Reading is important regardless of the subject being taught and I love to support my girls in thier reading journeys. When I am able, I provide them with books of all genres to read and would love to integrate science novels into my lessons. Please help me provide them books so they can enjoy themselves while also enriching their young minds.
