I want a huge rug where we can gather as a class and have morning meetings. There, we can get to know each other and create a real learning community. It also gives us a designated space to have any other activities as a class that we may want to have. I also want the chairs to add to my library to make my reading corner a fun place for kids to go. I want reading to be seen as an escape as well as a fun thing to do. Creating a fun space where they want to go to read only encourages this vision!
