I chose materials that will get our room ready for the incoming fall. All students are returning to campus! There are positive changes and sadly some budget cuts happening, and this is my chance to show our students that we are excited for them to be back on campus. That is why I need your help to make our new College and Career center stand out! Students are shown to participate and increase attendance when they are proud of their school. I want to create a center that looks and feels modern and approachable to both our students and their families. Therefore, I added a 5 gallon bucket of paint to freshen up the outdated look of the center. I added a printer that will make beautiful posters and visuals for our students and parents to see around campus. I added Clorox wipes and a first aid kit to make sure we are prepared with CDC guidelines and any minor incidents. I added a chair for myself so I can have comfort in the process of creating and organizing events for our students. Everything is going to be a process! But I am excited, nevertheless.
