For the past year, my students haven't gotten a chance to have actual books in their hands. We have had to read books online. This year I want to create a classroom library space that is inviting for students. I want this space to be organized with flexible seating and in a way that they can't wait to select their next new favorite book. Our books will be read both at school and can be taken home to enjoy as well. Most of my students do not have a lot of books at home, so giving them an opportunity to have books that they can't wait to take home and continue to read is important! The space to foster a love for learning and reading will hopefully continue for a lifetime.
