As a teacher, it is my responsibility and passion to teach my students the academics they need to be successful in the following grade, but it is also my responsibility and passion to help them learn and develop skills to become happy, successful, and functional adults who know how to adapt and change and treat people with kindness. Adults who know how to thrive. I feel these books and the resources I purchase with the gift card will allow me to teach these skills in a fun and engaging way. These books are excellent resources that use child appropriate language and I believe they will make a big impact on my classroom community and my student's social and emotional well being.
