Students learning to write are often motivated by creative and engaging supplies. My aim is to bring that to my students, many of whom have no other access to such supplies. I plan on creating a writing station, where students can come to explore the many genres of the written word Expanding our classroom library to include more diversity will benefit my students who come from many places in the world. It will be exiting for them to connect with the stories and pictures in these books. My hope is that as they learn to love listening to books, they will be motivated to read for themselves.
