With budget cuts occurring more often, it is difficult to provide our students with the most updated resources. Libraries provide such wonderful resources to students, but unfortunately it is the first to be dismissed. The enthusiasm students get from coming to the Library shows in their learning. I am requesting books to enhance our Library and our students' learning. The school Library is the main resource for book activities, reading, and collaboration for our students. Many of our students don't have the opportunity or means to go to public Libraries on their own. These new books provide new reading opportunities for our students and will enhance our Library because at the moment it is outdated. We haven't been able to purchase any new books for our students due to these budget cuts. Slowly our students lose excitement when our Library thins out from outdated books. We would like to provide them with a fresh new desire.
