I am anticipating 25 new second graders on August 18th! Last year I taught completely virtual so I am excited to have kids back in my classroom again. It will still be a hard year as we will all be socially distanced from each other. Usually, their reward for working hard throughout the week is "Fun Friday" centers. This is where I place toys/items in different areas throughout our classroom. Then, my students get to choose a center and play with their classmates. Unfortunately, "Fun Friday" will have to look different this year as they are not allowed to share items due to social distance regulations. Ideally, I would like to create personal boxes of items they can play with at their desks that they won't have to share. I do not have enough items to make personalized "Fun Friday" kits for them. I have always loved rewarding my kids with some fun at the end of their week. They work so hard for it and they are very deserving. I hope our special project can get funded. Thank you for any help in our endeavor!
