In a world that is often focused on self, and riddled with anxiety, my students will be improving themselves while improving the lives of others. We will learn about core values that when developed help us become our best selves while doing a hands on project that brings those lessons to life. Here are some benefits...Every child, regardless of socioeconomic status, can donate used grocery sacks and feel like they are an important part of our classroom community. Learning to crochet helps to reduce anxiety and improve fine motor skills. Crocheting is also a math skill! By focusing outward, we feel more in control and gain knowledge of how little actions make a big difference.
