My school is advancing the art program from basic drawing and painting and transitioning towards ceramics, photography, and other forms of the arts. The transformation of the program will get students ready for art classes they wish to take in college, and careers for their future. Our current solution is to use phones and Chromebook cameras, but this produces the issue of not every student will have these devices. The goal is to ensure my students are well equipped for higher learning this requires new materials to aid in their future success. The program is capable of opening doors for our students with new opportunities and big dreams from our small community that they may not have been aware of before.
