Students are able to focus, learn, and work better when they are not hungry or stressed. Snacks will help to decrease hunger in between main meals and while our students are in the building with us. Since our learning environment has a student base that includes uncontrollable circumstances of food shortages and daily supplies which adds to their stress level, this donation will also help address the stress students experience and provide a better chance for classroom success. All students will benefit and parents can have temporary relief knowing that children will not be hungry and have tools meant to reduce stress while in our care.
