As students continue to return from remote learning and deal with the academic affects of the pandemic, it is important that their social-emotional needs be addressed as well. As a full time counselor this year, I would like to begin building a space for them at is warm, comforting and joyful. I would also to continue to support them with resources that will help them identify their feelings, learn techniques for emotion management, and learn how to build peer relationships again. The colorful chairs, cushions, thumballs, meditation cards, and games are all items that will help to begin building a memorable student space!
