As a dual language teacher, I am expected to regularly assess my students’ reading proficiency in both English and Spanish. While English reading resources are accessible on my campus, our Spanish selections are incredibly limited. My project is aimed at purchasing interesting books I know my students love so that they can read for both academics and pleasure. These books will provide endless opportunities for reading to develop accuracy, fluency, and comprehension. These selected books can be enjoyed by my current students and future students. These books will excite them.

About my class
