Our school has many students with social emotional issues. My students will use this calm down center to calm big emotions. They will use the tools to self regulate and return to the regular classroom activities. This calm down center will go into the corner of my classroom and only be used at school. Students will have a more successful day at school if they have a calm safe place to self regulate. This calm down area will improve academic performance by keeping students in the classroom instead of sending them to the office.

About my class
