Family engagement nights are one of our school's most valued activities. Due to Covid, these have had to be put on the back burner. We are excited to bring back our first event in November, which is "Movie Night". Families gather on our grass area, enjoying treats and entertainment, but most importantly, a night of family time. It is also a great way for families to get to know staff and other community members. We are in need of projectors that are designed for both indoor and outdoor viewing. In order to accommodate families with a convenient time frame, outdoor events needs to start at sunset. It is still semi-light out, and a good projector will help us transition as the evening progresses toward darkness. The second projector will be a permanent fixture in our Multi-Purpose Room when we are hosting events for our indoor Family Nights, as well as Award Assemblies throughout the school year. The projector I have selected, Optoma HD146X High Performance Projector, has a 3600 Lumen Lamp that works well under these conditions. It also has a 15,000 hour lamp life, with if ran for 4 hours per day would last 10 years; thus saving money on bulb replacement.
