At our school reading is not only encouraged but supported by all staff. As the libriarian I have created an environment for our students see the library as place to come and relax with a good book, introducing them to people, ideas and worlds that open their minds and provide them an enhanced educational experience. To do this we need to maintain current popular titles and updated materials for reading. Dwindling budgets have caused me to look at alternatives and other opportunities for buying books. Donors Choose is the perfect avenue for this.
