There are countless activities to do with basic art materials. From paper flowers to underwater scenes. The materials listed will help make a difference in my 1st grade class as we are returning to in-person learning. Many of my students don't have access to their own individual art materials therefore the class set of materials will empower and encourage my students. The art materials and activities will also be a means to deal with what students have dealt through in the pandemic while still continuing to follow safety protocols. Art as a means of expression and creativity is essential in the early childhood classroom. Art enriches student's lives and makes learning meaningful.
