During distance learning, the main ways of delivering content is though instructional videos. As we reopen and some students come back to the classroom while others stay online, instructional videos will continue to be an important pillar of our classroom. To ensure equity of educational experience, I will continue to be making high quality instructional videos for students to access whether they're in the classroom or not. Using iMovie to make these instructional videos is going to be crucial for editing and exporting videos of science demos or biology lectures to Canvas. Also, features like Garage Band and PDF editing are unavailable on PCs, making it harder for me to put together high quality online learning content. To make sure I improve my practice and continue to deliver equitable education for online and in-person learners, having a mac is going to be essential to my teaching practice. I appreciate any help I can get to bring technologically savvy learning happening in my 21st century classroom!
