As a first year, first grade teacher I want every aspect of my classroom to be as encouraging and student friendly as possible. Literacy is so important and 1st grade is the time to really build that foundation and love for books and literacy. In order for students to love reading it is important they are reading a variety of genres, but also reading books within their reading level. By having these bright and inviting book bins in my classroom library I will have the ability to organize the books by reading level making it easy for my students to find the books that will help them love reading!
