These talk buttons will enhance learning and communication that our special education services strive to provide. Special education staff work extremely hard to promote academic and communication learning for our students each day. The only small amount of these talks buttons that we currently use in class have proved to provide each student with extra, quality support to engage in academic lessons and communication. Students love hearing "voice output" with these touch button responses and has even promoted their independent verbal responses after their use! With these new talk buttons, my students will have access to their use in a variety of areas around the classroom and school! Students will have faster access to voice output communication with different activities without staff being limited to the small amount of talk buttons in the classroom. The best way to increase academics and communication is to provide them with immediate access to technology so that they can demonstrate their knowledge. This project will help students by providing this opportunity at a faster, more immediate pace.
