In our virtual school, we do not have access to real books for reading. Epic and other ebook resources are excellent but the students really want to have a real book club. Because we are studying the revolutionary war, they thought a book club would be a great way to learn more. My fifth graders value authentic learning, so having a real book club is important to them. They enjoy discussions and debates and are learning important critical thinking skills, but we do not have the resources available to purchase books for all the students. That is where you can help! Every donation, no matter the amount, is a big help.
