These materials will help me teach my students social and calming skills. I will also use the supplies the reinforce the positive behaviors of my students. After distance learning for a year and now returning to school in person students are struggling with self regulation. These supplies, bouncy bands, LEGO kits, board games, dry erase pockets, and felt erasers, will support my instruction of appropriate social skills and provide high value rewards for positive behavior. Due to the learning difficulties of my students, they require explicit instruction in social and emotional skills. These materials will provide visual examples and real life practice for my students.
