Getting rid of my big chair-desk combos and replacing them with stacking chairs will allow me to use my classroom space for maximal potential and provide a more engaging learning environment for my students I will be able to get my students up and moving quickly and seamlessly throughout the lesson. Physical movement enhances student learning and engagement. It will allow my to get students into groups more easily, make room to act out stories both as a whole class and in small groups, do aerobic brain-break exercises and movements, create more one on one student-teacher engagement and make transitions to paired activities effortlessly. The students will benefit enormously!!
