I am asking for donations to my special education classroom that are sensory focused and skill building activities. In my classroom, we have structured times in our day so students can work on following steps in building structures with blocks and other manipulatives. My students love the manipulatives that we have in our classroom right now and I would love to add more sets so we can build new exciting things! We also have times in our day that focus on sensory skills using different sands, rice, and scented waxes. My students really enjoy this time, it helps build their social skills with playing with each other. I would love to incorporate more types of sensory play into our school day as choices.
