A sensory path is a colorful, creative, and playful way for kids to build sensory pathways, connections in the brain that are responsible for sight, touch, and sound. They are a great way for kids to develop motor skills like balance, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness. Students will be able to practice their letter recognition and sounds, counting, sight words, and words of affirmation. Overall, a sensory pathways is really just a fun and easy way to get kids up and moving while practicing important motor and mental skills wile social distancing.
