We are a Title I high school in a small agriculturally based community. We face many challenges including high poverty and an educational completion level that for many residents does not include a high school diploma. Many of my students have the cards stacked against them. Many arrived to me not having any goals and dreams and it has been my goal to change that. My goal is to create a motivational flexible environment that exposes my students to all of the wonderful possibilities their futures hold. I want to create a collegiate environment where higher education is looked at not only as a possibility but a must. With your help, I will be able to purchase these items to help in the creation of a college-type atmosphere where students can work collaboratively and know their worth. My kids deserve a setting that raises the bar and with your help I can begin to make this happen.
