Kids love building with LEGOs! Although it may look like play to us, as children are creating and building, they are practicing the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills they’ll need for the 21st Century. This classroom LEGO Imagination Station will provide students with hands-on opportunities to create, problem-solve, and collaborate, all while using their natural curiosity. Building with the LEGO bricks and building plates I have requested will provide my students the space to use their creativity, develop patience and persistence, and imagine alternatives to the many challenges they encounter, all life-long skills they’ll need for the future.
