One item I am requesting is a swivel mount for my laptop. Due to COVID I removed my desk to increase the space for my students to remain 6 feet away from one another. I have one spot to hook my laptop at to be able to use my smart board. I end up having my back turned to the students. I would like to be able to access documents on my computer during teaching and still have my eyes on my students. The most important item I am requesting is a document camera for my classroom. This will benefit my students because it will allow them to see paper copies better. I will be able to model expectations and allow them to see everything I do. This includes them being able to see me model writing behaviors in a whole group setting. This is vital with my ESOL students. Due to COVID, modeling expectations for anything written has been extremely difficult due to the guidelines put in place.
